Join Us in our Local Food Pantry Drive

Poli Mortgage Group is very proud to present a new giving initiative under our Poli Cares Campaign umbrella.  Beginning in April 2014, we will launch the first community service program, a local Food Drive.  All employees at Poli Mortgage Group, along with our local food drive partners are very excited to pay it forward and personally give back to those in need. Our Food Drive will support the local food pantries in Norwood, Walpole and Canton, Massachusetts.

Our expectation is to collect an abundance of non-perishable items to help fight hunger in our communities through our efforts and by partnering with local businesses.

Learn more about the pantries that we will be supporting:

The Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood, Inc. serves over 350 families in Norwood and Westwood.  The mission of the Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood, Inc. is to provide emergency food to people in need. The clients are encouraged to use the pantry only as a stepping stone toward their independence.

The Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood is an all-volunteer organization. They have no paid staff. Over 100 volunteers donate their time and talent to make the pantry a success.

The Walpole Community Food Pantry is operated entirely by volunteers interested in ensuring their neighbors have access to basic human necessities regardless of their personal circumstances.  The Walpole Food Pantry’s mission is "helping our neighbors in need", by offering their time, talent and energy.

The Walpole Community Food Pantry gathers and distributes free food and other necessities for home consumption to eligible Walpole residents based on economic need and availability. The Walpole Community Food Pantry is a non-profit organization.  They are generally looking for donations of food, household products and personal care items.

The Canton Food Pantry’s purpose is to provide free food to eligible Canton residents. They serve many individuals and families, on a temporary basis, who have been affected by economic problems. The Food Pantry is operated entirely by volunteers who wish to help their fellow townspeople, by providing a basic human necessity.  The Canton Pantry is always in need of non-perishable food, personal care items and household products.

The Canton Food Pantry relies not only on food donations, but also on financial contributions from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Donated monies are used to purchase much needed perishable items such as eggs, cheese, fruit, potatoes, etc., as well as, non-perishable items that are in high demand.
